from solid bronze dore and a casework overlaid with tortoise shell. Crafted in Paris by Martinot, it represents the epitome
of fine artisanry with hand-painted porcelain numerals and artfully chased bronze to create detailing that is unsurpassed.

Antique Bronze Renaissance Mantel Clock This
exquisite solid bronze mantel clock was produced by the incredibly talented clocksmiths of Paris during the waning years of
the 19th century, and features exhuberant Renaissance styling coupled with incredible realism of artistry that is rare in
such a specimen! From the urn finial down to the footed base, each segment of the clock is an example of the highest quality
in lost wax casting, plus hand-chasework that provides almost microscopic detail. The hand-painted porcelain dial face with
egg & dart frame and chiseled numerals complements the stylish hands, with a fleur de lis on the tip of the hour hand!
Cleaned and restored, it is in wonderful working condition!
As of this writing, the original pair of matching candelabra
were still available!
